Holland America Cruises

By BootsnAll | February 20th, 2009

Holland America Line is one of the subsidiaries of the massive Carnival Cruise company, but it also has its own identity as a provider of premium cruise vacations. Holland America cruises has 13 ships in its fleet and if you take a trip with this company you are one of almost 700,000 people to do so each year – so they must be doing something right!

While Holland America cruises might sound like they have a European focus, the company itself is actually headquartered in Seattle. It was, however, founded in Amsterdam (hence the name). Europe is among the destinations served by Holland America cruises, but it is by no means the only place you can go with Holland America. Some of the other places include familiar cruise destinations like Alaska, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico and even the Panama Canal. But even beyond those you will find cruises to Asia, Australia, and South America, as well as cruises along the Pacific Coast, “Grand Voyages” to places like Antarctica and Africa and even a holiday cruise which could whisk you away from the stress of the winter holidays.

But all this luxury – remember, Holland America cruises are considered “premium” cruises – comes at a price. You may have looked at Holland America Cruise Lines in the past and ruled them out because they were beyond your budget, but that was before you found this website! To the left you will see a list of Holland America cruise deals. The list changes regularly as new deals are added and old ones expire or get sold out, so it is a great source of cruise discounts when you are shopping for a vacation. While not every one of these deals will suit you, there should be one that is tempting – and that will put a “premium” cruise in your reach.

At the time of this writing, there are two deals listed, but one of them is already sold out! The remaining deal is a seven-day Alaska Inside Passage cruise for $654 per person, but the sold-out deal looks even more interesting – it is called a “Holland America Sneak Sale” and offers cruises starting at $499! You never know what will be available when, so we recommend that you bookmark this page and check back frequently – that way you will not miss out on a great deal.

Dear Sir/ Madame,
My isiter and I are over 55 and have travel before with your company around the Baltic Sea and have been very impressed and we deceide we would like to travel with you again through the Panamal Canal on the 29th September on the Ryndam. We tried to book through Vactionions to go but alas because we live in Australia we were unable to do so. The ship departs from San Diego to Tampa. What is the best deal you could do for us on the cruise with an Ocean View? Look forward to your prompt reply to my question.
